An Instructive Little Quiz
There are a lot of myths about aging bouncing around in the conventional wisdom. Here’s an easy and entertaining way to untangle some of them. The National Institute on Aging has produced an online quiz that’s really quite interesting. You’ll probably score well on the quiz (I did) because the way the questions are structured provides a lot of information about what the correct answers are. But that just adds to the fun. You get to feel smart while you’re learning some things you probably really didn’t know to start with.
More important is the fact that taking the quiz gives you a way to think about a broad spectrum of issues about aging in an organized and instructive way.
